The Gibson Firebird rocks a reverse body and headstock design as originally introduced in 1963 and was
Gibson's first neck-through-body design. The Firebird has been favored by many acclaimed artists such as

The body of the 2013 Firebird V is made of solid mahogany wings glued onto the 9-ply mahogany/walnut neck. The neck is equipped with a fast and smooth slim taper profile in the back and a beautifully grained rosewood fingerboard topped off with 22 highly polished ‘Jescar’ Stainless 57110 medium jumbo frets.
Hardware and electronic appointments include all chrome standard two-piece bridge unit, gearless 40:01 ratio Steinberger tuners and two upgraded U.S.A handmade Planet Tone "Mean Mistreaters" Neck & Bridge minibucker pickups handwired end-to-end to an upgraded harness using CTS 500K pots and Russian PIO .022uF capacitors. This Bird sings.
The guitar was professionally refinished in Pearl White with very tasteful and faint Aquamarine accents which are visible when the guitar moves and catches the light just right. The finish looks spectacular in person and the Aquamarine accents match the Abalone trapezoid fingerboard inlays and custom UFO knobs capped with genuine New Zealand Abalone perfectly. She’s almost too pretty to be an everyday player, but the vintage sound and easy playability makes it really hard not to plug in and ‘er let rip.
This guitar is professionally setup and protected in the original Gibson hardshell case which is in
excellent condition in and out.
