description
The Gibson Les Paul Standard 2013 maintains Gibson’s dedication to improving their most famous models to keep up with consumer demand. Improving the legendary Les Paul is never an easy task, but the Gibson Les Paul Standard 2013 demonstrates an elegant revision of the true classic, featuring defined upgrades and new qualities that make this guitar arguably the best Les Paul Standards ever produced. The Gibson Les Paul Standard 2013 features an AA Figured Maple Top and a fast ‘60s Neck Profile with Compound Radius Rosewood Fingerboard which many guitarists consider the most playable Les Paul neck ever made. We tend to agree.
The Les Paul Standard 2013 benefits from Gibson’s “Modern” Weight Relieved body, providing unmatched balance, weight and most importantly − tone. Designed to be the ultimate modern performance guitar, the Gibson Les Paul Standard 2013 features Gibson’s Dual Burstbucker Pro Pickups with two push/pull volume and 2 push/pull tone controls, specifically designed for the 2013 Les Paul Standard.
The push-pull volume control switches offer a choice of either humbucking (down) or single coil (up) operation for
each pickup, which also provides improved, frequency tuned coil tapping for a fatter single coil tone, better output
balance and a more balanced output between the humbucking and single coil modes. The Bridge Pickup’s Tone
push-pull switch routes the Bridge pickup directly to the jack bypassing the pickup selector volume and tone
controls for a true bypass (up) or normal control operation (down). The neck pickup’s tone push-pull switch allows
players to switch between in-phase (down), or out-of-phase (up) when both pickups are combined, which can be
used with both humbucking and single coil modes.
This guitar is in brand new and unplayed condition. You can be the first person to play it. Comes with original Gibson OSHC and factory case-candies / paperwork.
