The Gibson Firebird rocks a reverse body and headstock design as originally introduced in 1963 and was Gibson's first neck-through-body design.

The Firebird 2017 T is the most expensive of the new 2017 non-custom shop models, and comes in in two variants; Vintage Sunburst and Pelham Blue. Both feature chrome-plated hardware, high gloss finish and classic Firebird pickguard with Firebird logo.The body of the 2017 Firebird T is made of solid mahogany wings glued onto the mahogany/walnut neck. The neck is equipped with a fast and smooth slim taper profile in the back and a (one-piece) 22-fret rosewood fingerboard on top. Hardware and electronics appointments include a standard two-piece bridge unit, gearless 40:01 ratio Steinberger tuners and two 495 minibucker pickups.

This guitar is professionally setup and protected in the original Gibson hardshell case.
