The legendary T`Bird is Gibson`s most popular and longest-running electric bass guitar. Noted for its outstanding design, thunderous tone, and neck-through-body construction, Thunderbird has always been in a league of its own. 2018 lineup features only one T`Bird, simply named Thunderbird Bass 2018. It is available in Vintage Sunburst nitro gloss finish, black hardware, black plastics, and matching headstock trims. Other notable features include solid and flat mahogany body wings (classic The Thunderbird high output, ceramic magnet loaded humbucking pickups (neck and bridge) deliver the sonic and iconic low end voice for which the Thunderbird is known. Thunderbird pickguard on the treble side), a 9-piece mahogany/walnut through-body neck (rounded profile, satin finish), a 20-fret rosewood fingerboard (dot inlays, 1.5" tektoid nut, 34" scale, 12" radius), a Babicz bridge, Thunderbird soapbar pickups, and Grover tuners. The narrow nut width and rounded neck profile neck feels both fast and intuitive.
BABICZ FCH 3-POINT, FOUR STRING BASS BRIDGE
The patented Babicz FCH 3-Point four string bass bridge is a direct drop-in replacement upgrade for a modern
Gibson 3-Point bass bridge (with existing M8 body inserts). The Babicz double locking eCAM saddle offers full
contact to the instruments body improving tonality and sustain, and making intonation and individual string
height adjustments are a breeze.
