Fender Musical Instruments Corporation has added a Telecaster® model to the American Acoustasonic® series of next-generation guitars that fuse acoustic and electric guitars. The first USA-made Acoustasonic, this is a limited edition Acoustasonic Telecaster finished in the always beautiful Black Paisley finish.
The guitar boasts a hollow Telecaster inspired body which is naturally loud and resonant with plenty of projection, and a mahogany back and high-grade solid Sitka spruce top. It boasts a lovely armrest bevel that transforms into the body binding, and the mahogany neck is topped with a smooth ebony fingerboard. The body also incorporates the new Stringed Instrument Resonance System (SIRS), which allows for a lively, big, top response that rivals much larger acoustic guitar bodies.
